Erkson
Hi ! 3.4.11 version saves on one's hard disk complete vugraphs of tournaments he watched, and that is very good.I was watching #1080 Tournament (Polish challenge round 5 - roman_club vs play for f.)My impression is that there is a problem with teams' names in the scoreboard page : if one displays a closed room board, and then returns to scoreboard page, open room EW team's name (SBOCCHI-So'na'sega) has been replaced by closed room EW team's name(Henrik dk-Fritsdk). IMHO the cause is :qx|o1|pn|Ole N,So'na'sega,carlamor,SBOCCHI|andqx|c1|pn|jjsb2,Fritsdk,roman_club,Henrik dk|etc... pn|.....must not be repeated in each board.pn| is already in the vugraph header (vg|.....etc...) I deleted all those extra pn and now the vugraph works normally. Erkson
inquiry
As an aside...when naming your team for team game matches, don't include COMMAs in your team name.. a team name like ... hip, hop, flip flop will cause all kinds of problems with the viugraph. Basically, only the first board of the match can be displayed. The reason for this is that one line on the vugraph header information is a commo deliminated field, and these commas screw it up. If you have a vugraph saved on your disk and all but one board is missing.. open the file of the tournment with notepad, find the line at the beginning of the file that begins like this... vg|team1, team2, ....etc|and remove the comma from the team 1 or team 2 name (but keeping the comma that separates the two team names). Then save the file with the save name and same FILE extension (not as *.txt). Now it should work fine. As an aside, maybe the software could be modified so that the team name field will not accept either commas or names that are too long to be displayed properly. The teamnames will also appear properly atthe top of the scoreboard in that version (instead of"team 1" and "team 2" as you see now). The problem was not the pn|| commands themselves,it was that there should have been 4 commas at thestart of the parameter to pn|| for the closed room. The pn||s are there in case the players change in themiddle of the match (yes, I know that in most casesthese are redundant). With previous version that was the role of "pw" tag followed by all players' names (and ,,,, if no new players) in vg header.AFAIK Team matches vugraphs never had "pn" after "qx".
