srmmu
Before I go out and purchase a copy of Windows XP Pro (it's a long story), I'd like to better understand whether I can run BBO on a Linux System I'm considering installing the free edition of SUSE Linux 9.3 availlable at openSUSE.org. The software looks terrific, except for the BBO thingy. I've seen instructions for debian, would they work for SUSE Linux? I'm not amazingly technical, but I'd prefer to not give M$ my money. . inquiry
I am certain M$ (known as Microsoft to most of us) can do just fine without your money. Here are links to running BBO under linux http://forums.bridgebase.com/index.php?sho...indpost&p=50744http://forums.bridgebase.com/index.php?sho...indpost&p=45530http://forums.bridgebase.com/index.php?sho...indpost&p=22509http://forums.bridgebase.com/index.php?sho...indpost&p=40903http://forums.bridgebase.com/index.php?sho...indpost&p=27967http://forums.bridgebase.com/index.php?sho...indpost&p=18250 Still, if you couldn't find these with the large SEARCH button here where all you had to do was push it and type linux (ok, and extend search longer than 30 days), you might find XP a much friendlier environment. If you have any questions about linux and BBO, the various users posting on it above will be more than willing to offer help I am sure. Also, Gerardo (a bbo yellow) in particular might be a good resourse for you. BTW, for what it is worth, Microsoft and Bill Gates have been very helpful to fred finding and fixing bugs in the BBO software, as Fred has posted within these forums.
