matmat
the gibs seem to do some silly things, as has been pointed out below. I wanted to play a few hands with them without infulencing the travellers for the other tables in play; but I could not figure out a way to do that. In teaching mode, all four hands are visible, and in the other modes the score at the table gets tabulated with the other tables. is there a way where the score at the gib table is imped/matchpointed against the other tables, but doesn't influence the other (all human) scores? if not, I think there should be. Deanrover
Choose "total points" rather than "mps" or "imps"
julie5607
How difficult would it be to program the software so that any IMP or MP hand played against GIB opponents would show a comparison to the pair playing (to give a practicing pair some frame of reference) but wouldn't be added into the overall comparisons for the hands? There are far too many ways to skew the scores when playing against GIB, and with only 16 comparisons per hand it seems to me that it is best just to keep GIB played hands out of the general pool. fred
We are going to keep things as they are until we are ready for an "official release". Some time between now and then we will have to decide on policies in this area. There are several reasonable options. Thinking... aisha759
Tried GIB in main BC and claim button seems to work fine, and GIB knows when to reject even :o Regards, Aisha
Elianna
You could also play rubber bridge with the GIBs, but I doubt that they'd pay up.
