luis
Looks like a normal 3♥ overcall to this simple soul.4♥ is a bid that in a more fair world would be down -1400 doubled.
han
You have 7 tricks. If partner can boost you to 10 tricks then partner will most likely raise 3H to 4H.
Walddk
4♥ is an overbid, but not the worst I have seen in my career. 3♥ shows a good hand (you are vulnerable), and if partner can't bid, you are unlikely to have missed a game. He needs to cover three of your losers. If he can, he won't pass. Roland
inquiry
two small clubs.. worse holding, and lead will be through what ever your partner has in that suit. 3♥ is more than enough
P_Marlowe
Hi, I agree, 4H is a bit much in direct seat, but in pass out it would have been ok. But I have also seen, greater crimes. Give Partner the spade King, take away the club King and now you have 10 tricks, but partner would not have raised to game. With kind regardsMarlowe
Double !
I concur4♥ seems to be a little pushy in direct seat (5 1/2 to 6 losers) but reasonable in the balancing seat.
