ehhh
:P If a pair uses the unusual 2nt as a means to show any 2 suiter (they do not use michael), is it alertable (acbl)?Generally it goes like this:After the 2nt overcall, the partner would begin by bidding up the line with their best suit & and if there was no fit, the overcaller corrects by bidding up the line their suit. The partner now knows his partner's other suit and can correct if necessary.
hrothgar
1. Definitely alertable within the ACBL2. Definitely not legal at the GCC legal. Legal at the Midchart level
pigpenz
usually implies two lower unbid suits, but when partner makes a move after you respond you can generally work out that what his two suits are. Is it alertable I dont know, I have used it lots of times, In INDIS noone ever knows what it means. I sort of think it is bridge logic that is implied after you remove partners call that you have the other two suits. ;)
