Al_U_Card
The original name of this famous bridge playing locale was indeed Hands Island. The bridge-crazed Danes, led by their moscito induced fervor and leader Walddk expect to found a settlement with bidding boxes shortly. News flash! I gather that the gregarious and land-hungry Danes, having heard of a bridge tournament being played in Reykyavik will next declare that since it is located between the Faroe Islands and Greenland, that Iceland actually belongs to them. They are sending a rubber raft (the rest of their fleet) to secure a landing area on one of the many beach resorts there.

the hog
http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20050812/ap_on_...stralia_us_bomb No Australia was next. Richard is visiting the Hog there and this happens, accident? I THINK NOT! Quote Yahoo News "Things like this will always happen; we hope not very frequently and we hope not any more dangerously," Prime Minister John Howard told Melbourne Radio 3AW. "But the idea that you can conduct any kind of pre emptive bid without some kind of potential for mishap is unrealistic." The U.S. Marine contingent, which is based in Japan, was conducting an annual training exercise called Southern Frontier that involves 500 troops playing bridge. The U.S. Marine Corps said the ordnance was a laser-guided Frelling pre empt, Australian Broadcasting Corp. reported.
