luke warm
i'd bid 2♠ over 2♦... i know we have game after the reverse.. when opener then bids 3♣ i'd probably bid 3nt.. if he bids 4♣ over that, i'd answer as rkc (if you play that) else 5♣
Blofeld
I thought 3♣ was game forcing. If not then I should certainly have bid something else.
mike777
Prefer Structured Reverses by Root Pavlicek. After: 1 minor=1Major=2 reverse If you do not have support for second suit then:with weakness rebid 5+major or rebid 2nt with only 4 in major. Here I would rebid 3clubs, game force. Opener has denied 4 spades so let us show our fit now at a low level. Here 3clubs shows support and often 10+ support points. WE GOT OUR BID. Now opener can cuebid 3d, we cuebid 3h, etc.3nt or 4nt would be to play. 4D at anytime is kickback (03-14). Perhaps:1C=1H2D=3C3D=3H4C=4NT( deny K of H and A of S but showing other spade stoppers). I would cuebid with ace of spades.P or 5clubs end. Please note with K of D as a known big card I would bid 4D ace ask over 4clubs with it. P_Marlowe
Hi, you did not tell, if 3C was already game forcing, looking at the East hand, East thought so, i.e. I will proceed on this assumption. :) I prefer 3S as 4th suit forcing, instead of the 4S splinter bid, asking for a spade stopper, keeping 3NT in the picture. If partner bids 3NT you know, that thereis wastage in spade, which will dumpen your enthusiasma bid. With kind regardsMarlowe

Standard meaning would be, that responder shows strong slam interests, which is hardly justified withthe given hand.
