I would have started by ruffing a small high at trick 2.

As it is, I would cross to dummy with a low trump, winning cheaply, and now ruff a small high. Cross again in trump (drawing the last trump in the process)and cash the top . If the Q drops, I have 13 winners: 5 trump in dummy, 4, AK and I will have scored two ruffs in my hand (I will ruff a ).

If the Q does not drop, I will have to make a decision. A lot depends on what happened: did somone show out in ? If so, who and when?

If the are 4-3, with Qxxx, I ruff it out and ruff a back to dummy to cash the high and , playing for a / squeeze...

Other lines will arise if the split badly, but I don't have the time to elaborate on the lines I would consider in all of the various scenarios :)

Too bad I don't hold AKQ10x of ! I would be interested in the percentages for my line compared to the crossruff idea. I suspect it is very close, but I would never be able to work it out at the table. My feel is that it is very slightly superior to the crossruff, but it would not surprise me to learn that it is not.
