NT responses after opponent's overcall

After a 1 level opener and a 1 level response, if opener rebids 1NT he is showing a balanced hand with minimal opening HCP count. If opener jumps to 2 NT after a 1 level response of course he/she is showing a stronger hand.

BUT

After a 1 level opener and a 2 level non-jump response (1S-P-2C-P does opener's rebid of 2NT show a minimal opener or the stronger hand? 2NT)

ALSO

After a 1 level opener and a 2 level overcall OR a 1 level opener with a 1 level response response followed by a 2 level overcall(1H-P-P-2C OR (1C-P-1H-2D does a 2NT rebid show a minimal hand or the stronger one?

2NT) 2NT)

Any advice would be helpful.

No, 2nt after a 1level response shows 18-19.

If opps prevent you from bidding 1nt you just pass.

The logic is that you need a strong hand to make 2nt if partner might have only 6 points. You never bid more notrumps than you expect to make.

If partner hasn't bid at all, you need 18-19 to bid 1nt.

The second case depends on whether 2 was game forcing or not. If it is, 2NT can show both the maximum and minimum hands, with strong hands raising 3NT to 4NT later on. If not, 2NT would have to show the minimum (since you have to bid something), with 3NT the maximum.

But otherwise, the strength of no trump bids is typically the same as if there was no opposition bidding at all. Oren Lidor published an article and quiz on this on BBO very recently.
