I did, many years ago, have a pro player redouble after 1D (P) 2C (4H) P (p) x by me….and my partner did squirm before passing. +1600 was an even better top than +800 would have been: the pro had a 3H bid but was trying to bully us (I was 23 and my partner the club manager, a much older woman).
