Over-calling 2 N usually shows a long minor, and cheap minor-suit • Over 2 M : 3m= m+ M ; 3 M = Strong hand with oM ; 4m= fg with 5 oM +m; 4 M = strong with m’s. • Over 2♦: 3♣= weaker t/o; 3♦= strong t/o, spl ♦; 4♣= M +♣’s, limited; 4♦= M ’s limited. ---------its just a little more then what i knew about defensive biding -------in the book Mutos ther are also diferent bid for the defencethe laurel and hardy look good on paper can be a nightmare in real situation for defending on the 2 level he propose 3 option1 Double with a 1 suiter ( PARTNER SHOW POINT BY STEP )2 use laurel and hardy with 2 suit (BIDING THE SUIT YOU DONT WANT TO PLAY) 3 bid 2NT with 13-15 HCP AND BALANCED HAND !
