euclidz
When I returned to the UK in 2006/7 I joined m local Bridge Club and a few months later, at the AGM, there was a proposal to stop paying the EBU affiliation fee (the proposer said that the EBU had increased affiliation fess to £++ and proposed we drop out and proposalit was carried. 15+ years later I am now on the Committee and a new member asked if we were ‘Affiliated’? This caused me to look at what I costs and trawling through the EBU web site the answer is not clear. . . . . . . What does it cost?
Douglas43
Hi, I believe that you can get the information at: Club Affiliation | English Bridge Union (ebu.co.uk) and the linked document https://www.ebu.co.uk/documents/membership/Club-Membership-Fees.pdf
euclidz
Hi, I believe that you can get the information at: Club Affiliation | English Bridge Union (ebu.co.uk) and the linked document https://www.ebu.co.uk/documents/membership/Club-Membership-Fees.pdf Thanks . . . . I did previously find and read those documents but they are not explicitly clear. I think it's saying that the Club pays £27 a year and every member of the Club pays about 50p each time they play. If that is correct, with an average of 6 tables it would be about £600 a year . . . is that correct?
