Balancing when playing with a robot is dangerous

Even vulnerable I think most of us will bid 3♣.

 

2♣=5+♣, 11-15 HCP, 12+ total points

 

And now 3♣ is defined as 6+♣, 15- HCP and 17+ total points

 

Now partner has the following hand

I bid 3N just hoping for the best and went down 6 vulnerable - ouch

 

Now in the replay (It was a robot challenge) my opponent did even worse

I think that in this sequence North should have at least (9)10 HCP / Total points to GF

3♣ is a slight overbid imo, but I say with a human partner that - I hope - is where the contract will end. Robot sees differently.

Does this mean that your fundamental problem with GIB is that you don't like the bidding system that it uses and you want the developers to change it to something more to your liking?

No I am just pinpointing areas, where the Robot bids to much, and a hand that have passed once and then is balancing, will not justify a raise by 8 total points. I am trying to be loyal to the bots system
