Idea for new BBO game

Clone the Express 4  Fast Boards , have two versions

Stop assuming that newbies , beginners, and people that people that have played less than 5 years know a complicated bidding system like 2/1 with 22 conventions.   This hurts all less experienced players.

That’s like assuming everyone knows Precision  !

However, DO assume , the casual or newer members started with Standard American using more Natural Bidding, and Everyone knows SA usually.  How do you expect to attract and keep new members ?  Why not have a ( SA Fast 4 ), so newer people can practice their 5 Minute Speedball skills ??

 Express 4 Fast 2/1 Boards

(Renamed )

Express 4 Fast SA Boards.

  (ADD ) Cloned version.

Have a Nice Day

I agree that it is unreasonable to assume that everyone is capable of understanding the current poorly documented and somewhat eccentric 2/1 system and is happy to play it.

But you assume BBO are capable of reprogramming GIB to a different system, which unfortunately does not seem to be the case.

Even if it was, I would argue that a simpler and more modern version of 2/1 would be much more attractive than SA, which beginners do not know and have no reason to learn.

"Everyone knows SA" is a gross overbid and certainly not the direction to go.

I think you have misunderstood the instruction (which could have been clearer).

When BBO says 2/1 they mean that if you find yourself playing with a robot, that's the system they'll use.

The rest of the time its just wild west - which in US terms means SAYC +/- a lot of random variation.
