mjlichom
I was wondering if someone could help me understand what would be the proper bidding sequence to persuade the robots to continue on the bidding in this situation. I also am having a hard time understanding why 5♥ is explained in this sequence as "no AK♦", which was evidently not the case. https://tinyurl.com/y7rav22v Thank you! PrecisionL
Over 4♠ you had the opportunity cue bid either minor, but you (North) didn't = therefore you don't have A of either minor.
smerriman
There is no proper bidding sequence that the robots will understand here. Unfortunately, splinters and control bidding are two very weak points of its bidding; it doesn't really understand either. (The reason the human description of the bidding says it denies a minor control is because it had two opportunities to show it. But the human description and robot logic aren't always connected, and the fact it doesn't show one doesn't mean it doesn't have one.) Over 4♠ you had the opportunity cue bid either minor, but you (North) didn't = therefore you don't have A of either minor.OP will be South, auto-switched to North after the bidding to play as declarer.
