Schaasm1
On the All Tournaments pending page, I frequently click on Substitute to indicate that I am willing to substitute. It would be nice if the All Tournaments page displayed a yellow dot next to the Substitutes button to indicate that I am now on the Substitutes list (similar to the yellow dot that indicates that you have registered for an upcoming tournament). I have occasionally gotten knocked off the list by declining two invitations, or by having two invitations time out because I wasn't looking at the screen. The yellow dot, or absence thereof, would provide feedback that you are, or are not, on the Substitutes list. What do you think?
oldboy_EST
Yes, this substitution system needs to be revised. It should be obvious that invitation sound should be received if a substituter is wanted. Currently, the substituter doesn't hear any sound (Many of us are doing other stuff in computer and BBO website is minimized!). By the way, if you see Account --> Settings --> Sound: invitation (activate/not activate), then sound is received if you enlist your name on a tournament's Partnership Desk, and get invited
steve2005
a box pops up when you are taken off (for declining or timing out on 2 invitations) getting booted off for declining 2 invitations is just silly. If i get an invitation for a Goulash i always turn them down, and then they ask me again. Who wants to play Goulash it isnt bridge

pescetom
It is a good idea to re-read any post you just made and to correct it if it does not make sense or say what you really meant. You can edit the faulty post directly, so no need to make a second post as correction.
