nmarks
When I start a game and go to chat, a dialogue box opens with chat messages from the previous day. If I want, I can select one and it will chat that message. It is not something I want. Even if I delete saved chat (in Chrome settings and also delete the entries in the dialogue box), all it does it make everything fine for the rest of the day. But when I log in the next day, I have a message or two from the prior day to delete. Anybody know how to turn off the setting that saves chat? I asked BBO and they clearly had no idea. They just sent me links about deleting what had been saved, not about how to stop saving.
Huibertus
Switch of auto-complete in your browser (Chrome calls it auto-fill). It will however of course also remove auto-complete for other sites where you actually want/need it.
lilaciris
same problem - what worked was "settings" then "security" then "clear browsing data" then tick "autofill data"...........text has not appeared on my subsequent login... msamani
Agree with original query... something has changed, because previously the older msgs did not used to pop up when trying to chat to Table and the fact that it does is v irritating. Will experiment too but would not like auto-save turned off for other sites.
barmar
We're aware of this, there have already been at least a half dozen previous threads about it. As I said in some of those threads, we expect this to be fixed in the next update. Until then, the only solution is to turn off auto-fill. We're sorry for the inconvenience.
