Thank youYou cannot use a regular table, but you could use a teaching table and unchecking the 'host sees all hands' in the teaching options.

Shugart23
I did not see how to make, say, North always have at least 15 points and 4 clubs....I was hoping that there were things like that which could be controlled
smerriman
After setting up the table (which can be a Bidding table if you only want to practice bidding, where basic robots are free; Teaching if you want to play the hands as well), tap on the menu then Deal Source. You can do basic options on HCP / suit lengths by clicking on Constraints, or more advanced ones by clicking on Advanced, checking the dealer input box, and entering something like: condition clubs(north)==4 and hcp(north)==15 (there's a link to the syntax notes). Once done, close and redeal.
pilowsky
If you are having difficulty making hands you can prepare them with "playbridge.com" and import them. Here is a step-by-step explanation. After you set up a teaching table you can load up hands you have previously played using the "export to table" function.
Left2Right
At the teaching table mentioned above, feel free to use any of the constraint files from my library.http://www.charlesandgerry.com/bridge/constraints.html Read the instructions, then scroll down to the "Table of Constraints". One to use for your slam practice, try http://www.charlesandgerry.com/bridge/constraints.html#slamq
pescetom
Useful thread so far, should be permanent and easy to locate.Just as 'Full Disclosure' (sadly abandoned) and 'Dealer Scripting' (sadly wounded by arbitrary removal of 'tricks' calculation last year) merit distinct sub-forums, surely so does 'Teaching Table', with this as a sticky thread.
