iandayre
I have my own thoughts on this which I will share soon, but one GIB action really surprised me recently
smerriman
Basic GIB typically accepts just with a maximum HCP (and of course, it doesn't count points for length), which is too conservative. Advanced GIB should theoretically be better than humans at deciding when to accept (assuming it's allowed to simulate here, which it should). thepossum
Before playing GiB I used to think quantitative bids were very specific
helene_t
It is generally about right when it comes to vanilla balanced hands, but it's too walrussy with shapy hands and when it knows about a fit which partner doesn't know about. So it's best to try to avoid quantis before partner's shape is known to be strictly balanced.
pigpenz
in my own experience...say opening 2NT showing 20-21.....when GIB inviteseven if you opened on 19hcp it usually rolls to 12 tricks you might need another in the poll like "who knows"
