Playing out the clock after a bad bidding sequence to get 50%

I recently played a TCR 80 Free Automated Fun and [one of the players] bid

a very rash 4S, I doubled, and he then proceeded to take the maximum allowed time for

each play and ran out the clock to get 50%. He would have got 0%.

Surely something can be done about this. Some suggestions -

1. Why isnt the deal autocompleted when fewer than a certain number of tricks has been played ?

In this case, it would have been an extremely easy autocomplete.

2. Each time a player takes a certain amount of time, a cumulative clock should be triggered.

If he repeats this more than once after this he gets replaced by robot.

3. Report the player and the tournament id ... of course this does no real good.

The problem with 2 is that a player can avoid a clock accumulating by making repeated bad claims. I have had this done against me.

Response - make your own (correct) claim. Doesn't work when it's a "you might not play it right", but it does work otherwise, unless they spam the claim button (I've always been able to do it when I need to, but I'm a very small and unrepresentative sample size, as I tend not to play against people I don't know).
