4.2.9 - tourney list colour

Installed 4.2.9.

The tournament list enhancement is great. But the colour drives me crazy.

Not yet installed 4.3.0.

 

Please select softer colour in the next release.

Since this is also about the tourney list, I figured that I might as well put it here.

 

Currently, it seems, when there are no recently completed tournaments, that folder goes away. It might be less confusing (I was wondering where it was, and then I realized that there might have been no tournaments completed lately) if instead of having it disappear, have it show 0 (that it doesn't contain anything). It might save people some puzzlement.

 

Also, about colors, I think that just a white background (ie: nothing) and (bold) black letting, then normal black lettering for folder contests might be ok. It seems easy enough to read, and not very startling to the eyes.

Black is not suiting that Page and hurting. When in doubts with colours, I always check with my wife.

Other than the color, I like it. If I'm at a table kibitzing or playing I can't use the drop down, it would be good to have the functionality from whereever you are on bbo.

K, what happens when you click Tournaments from a table? Do you see the headings (Running, completed, etc?)

Hmm, Ive just finished a tourney, It worked while I was playing, now Im kibitzing.

 

As kibitzer I have the 4 headings:

I click on tournaments in progress..nothing happens, I dont have scroll bar

Ditto with completed tournaments

When I click tournaments starting within hour, the results are displayed and I get scroll bar.

 

If I back out of table and go back in, no clicks work either expand or collapse.

edit: Its random, I can now expand and collpase "starting within hour" but I can't collapse "starting later"

4.3.0 --> Black is owfull ;)

 

I think black on gray background (~grayer like that) would be OK.

For me, it now often doesn't work when kibitzing at a table and clicking the "tourneys" button. I often get a list of only the running tourneys in the old format.

 

Btw, the number of "completed tournaments" was wrong sometimes.

I recently installed version 4.3.0, I agree "yellow" fonts on "black bacground" on that function is not suited. I suggest variation of any colors which was used on that page will be nice. Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback. Colors will be nicer in next version.

 

With respect to the lists sometimes containing improper information. Has anyone seen this happen with 4.3.0? If yes, do you know how to replicate the condition?

I just used the right click menu to jump from kibing a team match, to kibing in the MBC (kibs needed permission). Now if i open the tourney subview at the table, i can only see running tourneys, and there are no folder bars displayed. So i can't change that.

Thanks Hotshot - that was very helpful. At least that source of the problem will be fixed for the next version. If anyone else can find a way to mess up the list then please let me know!
