Note that the last two options are different. Choosing the second to last is akin to choosing "I don't care, this doesn't interest me", choosing the last says "Please don't display them"

I could be confused, but I thought that is option one. I read it as "every single vote" means every bid that got at least one vote. And "plus totals for answers" meaning the total for each one. Just like was done in post BPO-002A

As these polls get popular with more participation, you are bound to get some typing errors and some wacky bids ( just for the fun of it) . I dont want to see these bids listed. After all this is possible as the answer is not a forced one from a choice of answers.

While I understand your sentiment, I do not wish to be placed in the position of deciding what's "sensible" and what's not ( would interpret that as anything I wouldn't bid! :)).

Or, I could only display the most chosen three or four choices (funnily enough, these two subsets of bids, while intersecting, are not necessarily contained in each other (much less equal) for some of the questions)

I take the opposite stance there - I'd really like to see the more imaginitive bids that are suggested. I trust that people won't make calls without reasons, and it's fun to look at all the different possibilities.

May not to be to my liking, but you decide. Experts think alike, less mortals like us have different views. Like in BPO-003 A the panelist were almost unanimous in 4D. Doesn't mean that other bids are not relevant for the discussion.

This is very reasonable. Alternatively, you can list all bids that been discussed in the respective thread atleast once.

For me with system debates, the choice is always about perfect complexity verses playably simplicity - in other words, how much "bang for my buck" am I getting to play a more complex style.

 

What I would like to see is a chart from a random hand generator that would for example show me how many times in a 1000 deals I would want to be able to stop in exactly 2S opposite a minimum reverse. This would give me an idea if the added memory work would be worth the time investment needed to learn a new system. Also, this would also allow me to compare the "winning" bid to randomly dealt hands and see how well the problem was really solved by the "top pick" action.
