Unable to continue play (but History works fine)

Just to report an unusual (in my experience) problem that occurred on 16 August during a tournament starting at 21.00 WET. All was normal after a slow login (26K users online) but half an hour later play just froze. I could still navigate in History (on a PC with dual window enabled) so the connection to BBO was still alive and well, but nobody else played or said anything and I had a creeping sensation the problem was me, confirmed when I was unable to chat to table. The same thing happened to at least one other player in the tournament (I can provide nickname and tournament details if necessary). TD was very patient and let me back in each time it happened (3 times?) , but it was frustrating for all concerned.
