2200 Posted August 14, 2021 Report Share Posted August 14, 2021 trump preference Those of you would know that sometimes, auction like 1S-1NT-2C-2S, responder could have singleton spade(but at least doubleton most of the times), just to maintain the bidding for one more round.Not so at 5 level.Holding 5 clubs to the A109xx， GIB decided even after pd volunteer 5C, it is far from being enough, and better make "trump preference" to the singleton suit.
