Analysing leads

Recommended Posts

Which free program/tool is possible to use to analyse the double-dummy success of particular leads giving to program one whole hand (leader's hand) and constraints about opponents?

Does anybody have some experience doing that?

Double Dummy implies knowing the position of all 52 cards. Try Deep Finesse but it's not freeware..

I believe William Bailey, the guy behind Deep Finesse, is working on a single dummy application.

DF has not the feature I need. I need to fix one hand, constrain the specification of other two hands (from bidding) and generate a lot of boards (100, 500, 1000...) making automatically double dummy analysis (computer generates other 3 hands) per each board and each lead.

Hi,

I have never done such type of analysis,

but I think your problem can be solved,

with a mixture of programs,

a deal generator and a double dummy solver.

One possible program to generate hands can be found

here

http://www.dombo.org/henk/dealer.html

Now you need to format the output, so that DF

accepts this as input.

I would suggest, you aske your question on RGB again, because there

are lots of guys hanging around, doing such analysis.

With kind regards

Marlowe
