After butchering the play and ending up 6NT-2 I was surprised to get 53.13% for this board - along with 11 others.

One person got it right for 6NT= and another person made 6D=

Turns out you can make 6 of anything (except clubs).

OK, the 2♥ response is revolting, 1♦-1♥-2♦ and you'll probably reach 6♦ which you will likely make (pitch the third card in one of the majors on the second club and now spades are 3-3 when you ruff them out or the ♥10 is good, but certainly won't be worse than -1.

I would have played exactly as you did, and believe it (finding a favorable diamond position along with the spade finesse) is the right line.
