pilartarra
hi, is there a way to know who a kibitzer is?
pilowsky
Yes, when you are playing a hand click on the "People" tab.A new option is available saying "kibitzers". Click on that.

Click on that. But bear in mind that you will have absolutely no clue about "who" they are unless you can figure it out from the username. pilartarra
hi, here I am again. I tried the kibitzers tab, but it only allows me to see the ones on my table. My question was more general, from a director perspective if I would want to check who is observing any table from the tournament I direct. Is that possible? My question was more general, from a director perspective if I would want to check who is observing any table from the tournament I direct. Is that possible? As long as you can get to the 'show tables' director command, then the 'Join' column on the right of the players names has a number in brackets showing how many kibitzers are at each table. You then need to visit the table to see who they are (as discussed earlier).
pilartarra
ok, understood. Thanks!
pilowsky
ok, understood. Thanks! One other small thing.Because BBO is a completely anonymous service, you do not know the identity of any particular kibitzer.A person can easily log out and then log in with a different username. There is no compulsion for the data that appears next to a user name to bear any relationship to reality.
