I am torn between Double and 5♣as that gets the message across.As responder to the double 1♠seems right as my suit is good. What could go wrong? The usual like playing 4. But on this hand you get to field 3♣ most likely don't you? Still 2♣ could be as strong as 17 HCP and partner might have a natural bid or a good heart stop... You are one of the 2 most competent pairs in the room, your opps aren't. What can go wrong is that your partner has a 3145 minimum double and you play in a 3-3 fit.
