hotShot
www.bridgebase.com is not accesible at the moment, perhaps it moved to another IP-Number. The server you are getting connected to os just not working. So you will have to live without the help for a while. If you BBO connection is n longer working while the rest of the internet is working fine, there has to be a firewall blocking you. This might be a Personal Firewall like Zonealarm or the build-in one from Windows XP, but it is also posssbile that your provider has one installed and allows internet access only using a proxy server. You need to find out if you are blocked by a firewall and if it is true, there is a readme file in the BBO dir that tells you what to do. Rosy
Thank you for helping, hoshot, i called an informatician and he came home.Unbelievable, but my computer had lot of spywares, adawares and go on (i don't know the exactly terminology that the informatician told me), he cleaned the registry base of windows, reinstalled IE coz it didn't work properly, he found 2 viruses really dangerous (he told me like i don't know if is exactly, he told me W32Zober); he reinstalled NAV, coz the NAV blocked everything (bridge base as well). In effectly IE wouldn't open before, he gave me always the same pages, casino online an example, he found 4 tyoolbars installed (style ITSC), well at least after all this he installed Opera and mozilla firefox in case i need, and once all the system was cleaned, he reinstalled the bridge base program.I'm happy, now it works, i can play. Finally i had to pay the informatician :D Well it's coorect, but why people make these kinds of programs, they download themselves in your computer, i'm not expert, it's not correct let us live in peace.Fortunately there are some people that can understand all this, and they can help (well you have to pay :P ).Well now he installed me a lot of programs to avoid all this disagrement about spywares, adawares and go on.The only question is:WHY PEOPLE DO THAT? YOU EARN MONEY? :P
