No. In case slam is cold, do I believe, I have a fair chance reaching this slam in a controlled way? No. I have defense enough for my opening, so we will beatthe contract, -2 mostof the time, maybe even -4.Meaning I may trade on average 300 against 420, no big deal, a match is long, to survive loosing 5 IMPS. Echognome Posted June 10, 2005 Report Share Posted June 10, 2005 Pass. One of my better partners says "You're only allowed to pull to the 5-level to making contracts." I don't have enough confidence that a 5-level contract will make. Alternatively, in terms of what I've shown in the auction thus far, I'm STILL minimum and my cards are slightly more defensive than offensive in my opinion.
