After RHO opens, I don't think this hand is good enough for it to be that likely it's our hand. Certainly I might miss a spade fit, but I think preempting in hearts is more likely to work than not. On the other hand, most people's methods are directed towards finding a major suit fit after a preempt. Since there's a good chance opponents don't have a spade fit, this means things will be quite awkward for them even over 2. No reason to push the extra level really.

2. If you play this as intermediate consider changing your system when you are not vulnerable.

At unfavorable I think intermediate is better, but NV not.

Reason: Playing intermediate jumps NV means that you either have to pass with WJO or overcall 1. The former means you miss out, the latter means partner cannot count on anything when you overcall 1.

2 if I play weak jump overcalls, which I think you should do non vulnerable. Not such a bad idea to play it as intermediate when vulnerable. Make sure you have an agreement with your partner.

1 would show a better hand, and 3 is for juniors and slightly intoxicated individuals. I have seen worse, however. Like yesterday when a lady from South America made a lead directing double over a Blackwood response (5) on a singleton 3.

Partner duly led away from her K against 6. Fortunately it didn't give the contract.

I might try 3H at favourable, not at love all.

As a side point,

If you

a) have no high cards

 a singleton heart

c) three trumps

then

doubling 5H on a singleton (assuming there's no chance they redouble to play there) is quite an imaginative effort that could work very well indeed. Holding, say, Axx xxxx Kxx xxx on an unrevealing auction, partner would probably lead a diamond against 6S. He won't lead a heart, because you didn't double 5H.
