smerriman
A good hand with both majors.
helene_t
Over RHO's minor suit opening, it is common to play 2m and 4m overcalls as showing both majors, while 3m shows a strong hand with length in the other minor, basically asking for a stop. Against dodgy minor suit openings you can also play either one or more of them as natural, for example GIB plays (1m)-3m as natural. But (3♦)-4♦ obviously can't be natural, so it shows both majors. nige1
IMO you might agree, after (3m):4♣ = ART. M and om. Then 4♦ asks "which M?"4♦ = ART MM.4M = NAT.After (3M):4♣ = NAT ♣ and OM.4♦ = NAT ♦ and OM.4M = CUE. mm.4OM = NAT.
