nob turner
This week there was an announcement that BBO is now charging state sales tax on BB$ purchases. When I contacted the office about it, suggesting that this is a service, not a physical product, Annie Cárdenas sent me a link to a long blog post on an unrelated website that didn't seem to answer my questions. I'll make the same argument here: my state (California) charges tax on physical item purchases, but not services. No tax on gardening, doctors, etc. If I buy something at the hardware store, of course there is sales tax. So how is it that BBO justifies this?
