Frankie C
ave noticed that fairly often when playing, that sometimes a board is missing from the imps score. Sometimes it may not appear for some time after finishing the game. Does anyone know why this happens please?
paulg
Assuming you are playing at a regular table, your score is compared with fifteen other tables who play the board. Sometimes you are the first to play a board and it takes some time for other tables to play it, which is why the score is initially zero and will then vary as more tables play it. Your score is updated asynchronously and so it can take a while to stabilise. Rarely, a board seems to get lost and is never played at any other table, known by many of us as a 'zombie board'. This may be caused by the board being given to a table that then breaks up and never actually plays it.

Thank you very much, I had realised this was more or less the way it happens, but it can sometimes take more than say, 30 mins which seems a lot.
