HandViewer, Hand Editor and lin format

Hi all.

I'm trying to bring together all the knowledge of HandViewer, Hand Editor and lin file format that I've managed to accumulate. A few questions have arisen:

- Is there a way to use Hand Editor to edit existing files (i.e. imported .lin files?)

- Or, similarly, is there a way to bring in something that I've created using the Handviewer URL parameters e.g. ...html?sn=blob,s=sakqjhakqjdakqjc6....

- I find that handviewer links generally contain just the 'lin=' parameter and I don't believe that LIN has a published specification

- As it seems others have, I have tried to work out some of LIN myself but I think that some codes were only designed for Flash and won't work for Handiewer links?

- Nevertheless, I'd like to know if it's possible to 'move back' some cards and it looks like up||, possibly in combination with pf|| might be able to do that. Anyone know anything about those?

Thanks in advance for any insights to any of the above.

I'm sure Green Biro is already familiar with these links ...

Second link corrected. I use only the standard BBO forum editor which is sufficiently versatile for my needs.

Yes thanks. Seen these (although you duplicated the link). Didn't quite cover what I'm after above.

I've realised that I might have put this in the wrong forum as it should be 'general bbo' rather than 'bbo support'. Don't know if it's possible to move it.

Anyway, if anyone else is able to address my lin queries that would be great.

Thanks.
