Cancelling tournament and bb$

Hello everyone,

 

I'm directing tournaments that are recognized by the french federation (FFB) that you can join for 3BB$

 

Today, i launched it as usual, but it was impossible to play, (deconnections, slow plays, bugs)

 

I cancelled it at the second round. (out of 9)

 

My question now : the players will they be reimboursed automatically ? Is there a procedure to follow ?

If a Tournament is cancelled BBO normally refunds the registration fee. We had the same issues today and I checked my BBO account and could see that my fee had been refunded.

Yes, any cancellation of a tourney triggers the refunding of any fees related to that tourney.

How long does it take to be refunded? A minute? An hour?

 

I have been encouraging my players to always keep at least TWO game fees in their BBO accounts in case something happens causing a game to crash or get cancelled and you want enough to re-register for a new game immediately (because I figured it would be several minutes, if not several hours, for your entry fee to be refunded to your account).
