bjg33
In yesterday's daylong as a C player I was 3rdA 1stB and 1stC with 61% in section 29 earning .53MP. Another C player in section 29 was 7thA 4thB and 3rdC with 54% but earned .67MP. Why does a lower ranked C player earn more points. Are there stratifications within the stratification??? barmar
Was this an ACBL Daylong? They have something called "metasections" that's used for awarding overall awards. See https://www.bridgebase.com/forums/topic/79816-questions-about-the-acbl-daylong/page__p__965110__hl__metasection__fromsearch__1#entry965110 for an earlier summary of how they work.
