How do I save a hand?

Hi, there are many ways to save a hand.

Let's start with the easiest.

1. After you play the hand,
2. Click on the History tab.
3. You should see a list of the hands you played.
4. Click on the hand you want to save.
5. Now you will see the hand with the number at the top left and three white lines on the right. - click the three white lines - a menu appears.
6. Click 'export'
7. These are the save options - you can get a 'handviewer link' that you can copy and paste into an email/spreadsheet or document to look at later. or you can 'save deal as' - this will put it into an archive folder that you open later.

I use the first method most of the time.

 

There are many other tricks.

With the exception of Practice tables (bidding tables and teaching tables) that are not saved by default, hands will be found in the History tab. If you select a hand, then the menu on the hand diagram (blue box with three white lines) gives you the option of Export. Select this option and 'Save deal as' will allow you to save the hand in a folder in your Deal Archive. You can also use this technique when you are at a Practice table to save a specific hand, but otherwise it will be lost when you leave the table.

 

Alternatively all the hands (with the same exceptions) are stored in the Myhands database - just click on HAND RECORDS on the BBO homepage https://www.bridgebase.com/

(you will need to login using your BBO username and password and can then easily access hands from the last couple of months).
