spidermag Posted August 17, 2020 Report Share Posted August 17, 2020 I have been unable to log onto BBO this afternoon using a windows pc (in common with many from my club) - after the initial page on https://www.bridgebase.com/ when you click on logon you are taken to https://www.bridgebase.com/v3/ which gives a white screen. I have restarted my computer - removed the cache - but still no joy! I am able to log in on my iPad - but not on the laptop. Advice please! paulg Posted August 17, 2020 Report Share Posted August 17, 2020 BBO Support cannot respond quickly to all the threads, but their response was: "There was a problem on BBO's side, affecting mostly iOS users, but not only. Next load FireFox and Opera Browser and share bookmarks from your current default browser to load into news Browser. Microsoft Edge might have issues and I refuse to use Big Brother Google. ALSO, …. MY HINT: SUSPECTED CAUSE COULD be " googletagmanager ' " If you look at the PAGE SOURCE it shows this ?? "https://www.googletagmanager.com/gtag/js?id=AW-641502072"Is GOOGLE ( Big Brother Tracker ) not playing NICE with other Browsers ?? Does BBO only work perfect with GOOGLE ?? Here is my Letter to Support BBO down Over an Hour at 10:00 AM EST ! WED OCT 20. Others said No Problem ??Any News to Directors ?? FOUND SOLUTIONS for USERS to TRY if BBO Hangs Up _____________________________________________________________ UPDATE 12:10 PM EST OCT 20 (( Suggestion for ACBL, WBL NewsLetters and HELP and FAQs )) SOLUTIONS for USERS to TRY, if Problems with BBO and it HANGS UP. Power Off SmartPhone, wait a few Seconds, Power ON SmartPhone , Try Again POWER DOWN PC completely, then POWER UP PC and wait until Background Apps like Virus Protection Loads Try Again Try different Browsers too.
