Question about $0.25 GIB hires

shyams

Recommended Posts

I have played in a couple of pairs tournament where I chose to enter with GIB as my partner.

My question is: Is the Robot for such tournaments an "advanced" version? I ask because, having played lots with both adv and basic bots, I got a sense that the bots in these tournaments weren't advanced.

All tourney creators can choose to allow robots in their pairs tournaments. If they have "allowed robots", you will be able to rent a robot as a partner in the tourney, and these are all advanced tourney class robots. You do not have to rent advanced robots separately. To check if a tournament allows robots click on "Register" and the registration window should show a button that says Play with Robot ($0.25) if robots are allowed. Click it and you will be registered to play with an advanced robot as your partner.
