gentgiant
Has anyone experienced an instance of multiple BB$ deductions for a single entry to Virtual Club Tournament? Last night a player saw 9 BB$ removed from her balance for a tourney with a 3 BB$ entry fee.
Gerardo
This is definitely NOT the right way to go about this. Proper way is for the affected person to send an-email to accounting@bridgebasse.com. Given than you started this, though, please update this ticket with the tourney #, so your claim cn be checked. Also PM me the person's name. The matter HAS been raised with support. Do not address any of my posts in this manner again.
Gerardo
If, as you say, was addressed via proper channels, why are you raising it here? With STILL *no data* to verify it, even when asked. Your post, so far, looks like Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt. Title of post amended to show this is unverifiable until, and if, given your attitude, data is actually provided. Your call. Hi, Your player can verify his/her recent activity using this page: https://www.bridgeba...custbalance.php Each BB$ transaction is shown along with details. A typical tournament entry fee transaction shows like this (notice that it includes the tournament number): 2020-07-25 15:10:14CardFee117.68Tourney Entry Feebbo9~2087~BBO~bbotd~bbotd1~bbotd2~bbotd3~bbotd4~bbotd5~bbotd6~bb So it's easy to check whether this player had same tourney displayed 3 times. It;s impossible as far as I know, but if she can provide the data it will be simple for our programmers to verify what happened and correct it. What Gerardo is saying (note that he is a programmer, not a PR manager, so his wording is very direct, but his intentions are constructive) is that it's useless to post this type of question here instead of emailing support with the actual username and asking them to check. A post like this in a public forum can spread doubt and misinformation if it turns out (as it most certainly will) that no, the player was not charged three times for the same tourney. It;s not like the other players can actually see what your player has spent their BB$ on anyway.

Neither of you know the circumstances (and there's no need to post them here) of the person involved. It was simply a genuine question. But if you are that sensitive about generalised questions of this kind, then it must be because you have some doubts yourselves. Support has answered, the player concerned is now satisfied. The matter is closed.
gordontd
It was simply a genuine question. The simple answer is no. And presumably this case has not turned out to be an exception or else you would have told us. In which case the responses you received seem more reasonable than your reaction to them. By the way, collection is done when people are seated; given they can be seated only once, your claim stunk from the beginning. In the future, if you have ANY claim, provide DATA, so sunch claim can be TESTED.
