DanG4503 Posted July 24, 2020 Report Share Posted July 24, 2020 Hi All, Running BBO on Win10, Chrome browser.All is well till a tournament or team match ends and then the Back and Home buttons don’t work anymore. Actually I cannot move anywhere from there and the only button working is Logoff. The problem is random but it happen to me several times now. To be more specific I am the host (and player) setting up 3 Team matches swapping pairs among 4 pairs:Match1 -> 12 vs 34Match2 -> 13 vs 24Match3 -> 14 vs 23where 1,2,3,4 are pair #. Since the matches are setup as Barometer, after Match1 ended, I can see the IMPs of last board which means the other table is done. I had to setup 2nd match but the Back and Home buttons are greyed and "Create Team Match" button is missing!Same happened between Match2 and Match3. DanG4503 Posted August 5, 2020 Author Report Share Posted August 5, 2020 Yesterday I ran again 3 matches as I explained in previous post, but this time when I started the 1st match and error came up:"An internal error was detected while creating your tournament."Would someone explain what the error means? I setup the match tree times but the error kept coming up. Eventually I loged off and on again to solve the problem, an awkward situation when you have 7 players waiting for the match to start.Same problem occurred after match 1, 2 and 3. barmar Posted August 9, 2020 Report Share Posted August 9, 2020 I checked our logs, I'm not currently able to find the details of your error. The timeline I see in the log is: 5:57 You logged in6:09 You got disconnected.6:10 You logged in again6:13 You created team match #8433, and the players were put in their seats.6:14 You sent chat to the tourney saying that there were problems creating the team match6:17 Board results started coming in I don't disbelieve that you got an error, but there's nothing in the log recording it with your username or match #8433. You say the problem was between 6:00 and 6:10, there's nothing logged at all for you during that period. No, I have not been disconnected, I had to log off and on to get around the error.And the Back and Home buttons being grayed after a match ends is still a problem because I have to log off and on again in order to be able to move around the site. Jean Anne Posted August 13, 2020 Report Share Posted August 13, 2020 Several months ago I started getting similar problems which continue to this day. In March I requested help from support sent list of issues with screen shot and was told no one else had such issues – must be my internet etc etc = i.e not their problem. So I wrote again last week sending screen shots as well- no reply. Now I see I am not the only one on BBO with these issues, and today the internal error started appearing. At least the infernal blue box telling me I am about to be logged out even while in the middle of a tourney has stopped appearing. At least I have company!
