Seems I have to keep the opps from playing a second heart - I hate good leads, LoL.

 

So: win the heart in hand, play the Ace of clubs and ruff a club; ruff a diamond back to hand and ruff the third club; now, spade to the Ace and lead a fourth club, pitching a spade. If all goes well, LHO will have to win this and be out of hearts.

I will hope that LHO has a spade and at least 4 in each minor. Win in dummy, ruff a diamond, cash the black aces, and start a cross-ruff in clubs and diamonds. I take the first 11 tricks if LHO can never over-ruff.

Declarer played a cross ruff, but he first ruffed a club in dummy....therefore he was a trick short.

 

The key is to win the first trick on dummy, and ruff a diamond in your hand...then cross-ruff 3 clubs in dummy

and 3 more diamonds in hand. When LHO has to follow to the fourth diamond (he started 2-3-4-4)...you are

in, having 9 trump tricks and 2 aces.

 

I was actually the opening leader, and found the trump lead from: xx K87 KQxx KJxx

 

any other lead, and its easy.
