mikeh
how is it that different tables making the exact same contract get different pointsNot sure what you mean. However, say you make 4S and pick up 3.4 imps. Two minutes later, the board having been played a few more times, making 4S might be worth 2.8 imps. Your own score will have been adjusted as well, but you won’t notice it if not paying attention to it. Otherwise, assuming all tables are in the same comparison group, and we’re all on the same board, the scores will be identical, but fluctuating as more results come in. Of course, if on board one, you make 4S and someone on board 5 makes 4S, these boards are not scored the same, since the score depends on how others play the same board
jokerjames
how is it that different tables making the exact same contract get different pointsThank you for your answer, however i meant I note that on the same board played (say board 1) there are different points awarded for the same contract successfully made.i.e, board 1....4 spades bid..... 4S+1 made. Different players playing the same board and making the same contract as other players get different points. The points do change over time but there is still a discrepancy for the same contract bid and made
Stephen Tu
Shouldn't happen once the board is finished playing. Provide a pointer to one of your myhands travellers where this is happening? http://www.bridgebase.com/myhands
