Robots

I often play the free daylong tournaments in which you play with three robots.

I noticed peculiar situations sometimes: When the robots are in defense they seem to know the hands. Normally one would say, that it is a kind of analysing hands which one is not able to do, when the robot in third hand let dummy win a trick with an unnatural small card, if it makes no difference to the result. That happens sometimes in a 3/4/5 card end position, where it could be possible to see, that declarer will not make an extra trick by doing so. But how can you explain this action, if it happens in the first trick? After the simple given (just declare mode) bidding 1NT - 2C - 2H - 4H in the weekend daylong tournament at the 5th of may 2020

LHrobot leads the 4 of clubs.

You play the 8 from dummy and RHrobot plays the 2 !!!!!

Is it possible that RHrobot is able to analyse, that it doesn't matter which card it plays, because declarer makes 12 tricks anyway after this lead?

I don´t think so. South could have such as:

[hv=pc=n&s=sqj86haj63dk5ca73&w=shdc&n=shdc&e=shdc]399|300[/hv]

and to let the 8 of clubs win, would cost a trick.

What do you think?
