bnm
I wanted to change my password which I did by changing it in my profile and saving it. Afterwards, I could no longer see hand records of hands I played - even those hands played after I changed the password. I even tried to change my browser, and the new browser remembered my old password (I may have used this browser in the past to play on BBO). Since the hand records require a logon, and the logon with the new password was successful, why cannot I see hand records. I changed the password back, and then I could see hand records. Even hand records played under the new password. It looks like a password is stored for BBO and again for hand records and those two places are not sync'ed. Any idea how to properly change a password in both locations? Brooks
barmar
If the login was successful, that's all that should matter. It doesn't use the password when fetching hands. We've had problems with hands propagating to the myhands database, which is why we reset it over the weekend. That may have been the problem you were running into, unrelated to the password.
