Pre-dealt hands for teams practice

Recommended Posts

The Australian national team wants to play some teams matches on BBO with some pre-dealt instructional hands.

When starting a teams match, there doesn't seem to be an option to upload a set of hands.

Is there any chance of this functionality becoming available shortly?

You could probably achieve the same goal through a Tournament where you have the facility to upload predealt lin files.

You can try a Private Tournament with 8 board, IMP, 1 Round, No. of deals per round as 8. Restrict No. of entries to 4. Make sure you control the order of registering the Pairs. The 1st registered Pair will be Table 1 NS, 2nd one will be T-1 EW, 3rd as T-2 NS and 4th T-2 EW. This is to make sure that the correct seating order is in place.

I have not tried this, but I guess this loophole should work. Can someone try and report if this works or not.

Uday, can you explain how this is done.

Yes, I saw the feature available now under Table, when playing Teams.

But you dont see the Table until all 8 accept invitation . So I presume, you mean that when the Team Match is listed saying 2 minutes to start, we need to click on that and then Table, Edit Tournament and upload predealth hands. ( This is a real small window of opportunity)

Many a time, even when your Team Match is listed, someone is not accepting, and the Create Team Match window needs to be editted and restarted. Do we upload once more or the 1st one stays?
