LionHeart1
I was TD at a tournament and I got the disconnect warning in every ten minutes. For a TD this interval is too short, if he has nothing to do, receives this warning at least once in every round. Is it not possible to increase this time? I know why this measure was introduced, but makes troubles or at least inconvenience for the TDs.
dsLawsd
Poor applications programming to say the least- it is happening to players when waiting for the robot to act and so on...
DJNeill
Great feedback, BBO relies on feedback to improve their product, thanks for speaking up on your experience so quickly.

If so, let be it Do you mean to say you do not do anything every ten minutes? Do not check tournament status?
thomascsch
The disconnect warning occurs too ofter and too quickly. It often appers within seconds of your last several clicks. This avery distracting in the middle of a difficult hand. It is the worst issue with BBO
steve2005
this is a recent bug,you are getting warned that you have been inactive and have to click ok to prove otherwise. This occurs to all users not just directors. This occurs even if you have just clicked seconds before! Its hardly a bug ...its related to the current situation we have outside in the real world.. BBO has 37000 logged on instead of the February 15000 at peak times. Every bridge club is closed .. Every local bridge organisor is trying to run "their own private club tournament" ..BBO is swamped and we are lucky it is still standing. Makes sense if you do nothing for 10 minutes or 5 minutes that you might be released to free up resources for those that are doing something. beowulf
Of course it's a bug. We understand the necessity of reducing the idle period. But when you are in the middle of typing, or playing, or whatever and it asks you if you're still there, that suggests a poor implementation. mlbridge
I am not sure BBO checks these boards. If they do, I am not sure they ever follow up on every issue. For example, the robot rebate tourneys have not shown up for months on the mobile app. Issue has been reported here months ago. No response/explanation or any correction of the problem. barmar
This has been fixed today. It's now 1 hour instead of 5 minutes.

If I do not play quickly enough, I will be kicked out from the TD-computer.

rustysnow
Greetings LionHeart1, not sure if you referring to this thread that addresses the problem of the notification that pops up frequently saying you are inactive from your keyboard? But thanks barmar for letting us know that it has been fixed to 1 hour limit instead of 5 minutes. Really good to see BBO still trying to improve playing experience whilst compromising in other areas to ease the increased load during such circumstances. Hope it helps. Regards,Russell
ahydra
I encountered a similar issue while playing BridgeMaster today. I was actively solving the hands, but it kept saying "BBO thinks you are away from your keyboard". ahydra
