han
I had a dream last night. I was playing online bridge with "Chamaco", and got some very difficult hands (several of those aceless 23-counts with 2 singletons that I always get in my dreams). Somehow all my choices turned out badly, and all the kibitzers thought I was a complete idiot. In real life I have never had any contact with "Chamaco", but I was reading some of his posts shortly before going to bed. What does this dream mean? Chamaco
What does this dream mean? Hehe, probably that I was dreaming the same, except that in my dreams all kibs thought *I* was being the idiot  :P ------- Uh oh, sorry, that's too close to reality to be a plausible dream ;)

inquiry
You can tell it was a dream, even while asleep because you had an ACE-less hand, two singletons and 23 points... I guess the hand looks something like this... [hv=s=skkqjxxhkkqxxdkck]133|100|It is the fifth and sixth king that should tip you off it is a dream :-)[/hv]

Fluffy
My bridge nightmares are normally that oppoennts, wich I really hate, end up playng double on my 7 card suit, I lead (Everything very slow) and see that a stupid card such as ♦6 is duplicated in dummy and my hand, and I know the hand will be averaged. pigpenz
Did you have your clothes on in this dream?thats the KEY!
Double !
AHA It means you need some psychoanalysis in order to help you understand the meanings of all of those various symbols that were posted, phallic, oedipal, (puppy feet, jewels like diamonds, shovels, hearts, etc. etc.), and in-depth exploration of defenses and early-childhood cathexes and fixations. Office hours have been extended for weary BBO Forum members. Verrry Interesting!
cherdano
You can tell it was a dream, even while asleep because you had an ACE-less hand, two singletons and 23 points... That assumes Han can count his points correctly while he is awake. Arend
han
Thanks very much Arend. I believe the hand in question had two small singletons, but definitely 23 HCP's not Zar-points and definitely aceless. I'm still trying to reconstruct the hand, I remember it was a tough problem so I might post it.
Fluffy
perhanps you had 5 or 6 suits, I've seen that before.
Double !
6-suited decks of cards do exist. The additional two suits are Wheels and Rackets.
Blofeld
Do you think you could count extra points for two singletons in the same suit? :)
helene_t
A had a strange dream last night: The European pairs championship was won by a Greek pair playing some forcing-club system. They played transfer responses to take-out doubles.
