Followups after weak 2 and change of suit

Looking for input on some auctions that came up recently, and some variants thereof... (opponents silent throughout)

2 (weak) - 3: how do you play this? (I think BWS suggests ART, asking for control in the suit with step responses)

2 - 2; ...: I assume that 4m is a splinter raise, 4 good hearts and a fit. What's the difference between 3 (which I assume is forcing?) and 4 by opener?

2 - 2; 3any - ... what's the difference between 3 and 4 by responder?

Perhaps, we should step back... Presumably, 2 is natural and constructive. But is it forcing? Some say not but I prefer F1. Assuming the latter, you might agree ....

After 2 - 2 - ?? Opener's rebids...

  • 2N = MAX 0-1 s.
  • 3 = MIN 0-1 3+ s.
  • 3 = MIN 0-1 3+ s.
  • 3 = MIN 2 s.
  • 3 = MIN (N/F) 3 s.
  • 3N = MAX 2 s.
  • 4m = SPL 3 s.
  • 4 = MAX 3622.

How are your weak 2-openings? Suit quality? Non vulnerable/vulnerable? Position? Can you expect opener to have a control outside his/hers suit?

I play it rather simple.

New suit is round forcing, normaly with no fit in openers´ suit. (why suggest another suit non forcing?)

Opener can support responer with a simple raise with minimum or jump with maximum. Or jump in a new suit as a splinter raise.

If opener has maximum and no fit for responder he/she bids NT or a side suit. With minimum opener repeats his/her suit.

Since opener is maximum we are in a game forcing situation. (So 3 from responder would be stronger than 4 if you play slow arrival)

2NT=forcing with fit (could be 2 cards). Then we respond as after Jacoby2NT.

Worked well so far.
